I have prepared this step by step tutorial of how to make a five finger hand. Many people find this tricky to start with but with some practice and the right tool and fabric you should be able to manage this techinque well. Five finger hands make a very attractive feature on your own dolls.
I find the best fabric to use is a Pima cotton. This is a very fine cotton which you will find in our Doll Fabrics section. If you want to use another fabric make sure it is a close weave. Stretch fabrics also work well for making hands. Doe Suede is very popular and can be found on Ebay or Google.
