Jane Houck began doll making in 1994 while working in her florist and craft business in New Hampshire. Here she began making fairy furniture which, of course, called for a fairy figure to use this furniture. Many efforts led her to cloth doll workshops and the how-to's of doll making. Jane says, "I've found my niche! This art form used all the past 30 years of experience with fabric, design, sewing, problem solving and construction.
